Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Elkhart County in Nappanee is seeking a Nappanee Youth Development Professional to support safe, engaging youth programs after school hours. You will supervise, model positive behavior, and assist with daily activities under the direction of lead staff. Positions begin August 2026 with onboarding completed before the school year.

Typical shifts are 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with some roles requiring availability until 8:00 p.m., and part-time 20–30

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Demonstrated ability to work with school-age youth (ages 5-18).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to follow directions and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively supervise youth to ensure safety at all times.
• Support setup, facilitation, and cleanup of daily programs and activities.
• Engage youth in activities to support participation and enjoyment.
• Follow established schedules, routines, and program plans.
