Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County is seeking a part-time Youth Development Professional to empower children at Cherry Hill Elementary. You will mentor youth, lead engaging activities, and model positive social-emotional skills in a safe, supportive environment.

Ideal candidates have experience with youth in educational or recreational settings, strong communication, and a willingness to engage in ongoing paid training.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth (ages 5–18) in educational, recreational, or team settings preferred.
• Reliable team player with a positive, professional attitude and strong communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in paid training and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and engage youth, building positive, supportive relationships.
• Lead games, recreational activities, and enrichment programs indoors and outdoors.
• Support social-emotional growth through modeling positive communication and empathy.
• Provide active supervision to maintain a safe space for all participants.
