Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ is seeking a Part-Time Youth Care Worker to join our dynamic Rite of Passage team. This permanent, part-time role offers approximately 24 hours per week on the C-Shift, with pay at $17.91 per hour and a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass criminal background check, drug screen, physical examination, and TB test.
• Ability to work the assigned C-Shift schedule and fulfill approximately 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine room checks and monitor student activities throughout your shift.

• Respond calmly and professionally to challenging behaviors using appropriate de‑escalation techniques.
• Collaborate with your team to provide consistent care and support for each student.

Part-Time Youth Care Worker

Join Our Dynamic Rite of Passage Team as a Part-Time Youth Care Worker at Canyon State Academy in Queen Creek, AZ, a community rooted in a rich agricultural history and known for cultivating growth both in its fields and in the lives of youth by fostering positive change and empowerment.

Canyon State Academy is located on a scenic 180-acre campus featuring a farm, student housing for 300+ youth, a thrift store, caf, barbershop, and church open to the community. Our campus also includes a fully equipped weight room, football stadium, and athletic center with a gymnasium, padded wrestling room, and more.

Pay
$17.91 per hour
$1,000 sign-on bonus

Part-Time Schedule
This is a permanent part-time position working approximately 24 hours per week on the C-Shift.

The specific days and hours of the shift will be determined based on program needs and may be subject to change.
