Job summary

Owen Health Care Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Individual Support Worker to assist behavioral therapists in creating tailored behavioral therapy programs for children and adolescents.

You will implement individualized service plans, provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings, and help manage youth with behavioral challenges. Applicants should have a college degree with one year of experience or a HS Diploma/GED with three years of supervised experience in positive behavior

Qualifications

• College degree with 1 year of experience or a HS diploma/GED with 3 years supervised experience in implementing behavioral plans for individuals with IDD.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with children and families.
• Ability to work independently while following established protocols and guidelines.
• Empathy, patience, and passion for working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized service plans for children and adolescents.
• Provide behavioral interventions in home and community settings.
• Actively manage youth with behavioral challenges.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment and teach positive behavioral practices.
• Monitor and document observations to adjust daily activities.
• Develop engaging recreational activities to support emotional and social growth.
