Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience practicing yoga with one year teaching experience.
• Current certification in one or more yoga disciplines or affiliations required.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Yoga classes.
• Coordinates and prepares music and choreography of class routines as necessary.
• Assist the Recreation Coordinator - Fitness with evaluation and recommendations for class/program improvement.
• Handle and report problems or emergencies to the Recreation Supervisor.
• Promote exercise safety awareness and best practices.
• Set‑up and take‑down of equipment; keep space organized.
• Arrange substitutes when unable to teach scheduled class.
• Follow department policies and maintain a friendly, professional attitude.
