Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs trailer switches moving parked trailers from yard to doors and vice versa.
• Communicates with control to coordinate trailer movements in the yard.
• Documents trailer moves using yard management system or switcher cards.
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections on equipment.
• Loads and unloads packages onto vehicles, conveyors, or carts.
• Sorts packages by reading labels and charts for correct conveyor routing.
