Job summary

OrthoAtlanta in Stockbridge, GA is seeking a part-time X-ray Technician to join our orthopedic imaging team. You will operate X-ray equipment, ensure patient positioning, and follow safety protocols to produce diagnostic images.

The role emphasizes meticulous attention to detail, clear communication with patients and clinicians, and ability to work independently within a collaborative clinical team. ARRT certification is preferred, with a path to eligibility, and a supportive environment focused

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain ARRT certification.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-Ray Technician (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues.
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards.
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system.
