Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for X Ray Image Verification at our Indianapolis, IN location. You will operate X-ray screening equipment, monitor access points, and provide courteous customer service in a logistics and distribution setting.

Responsibilities include documenting activity, reporting concerns to site leadership, and supporting a secure environment. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunity to grow within the company.

Qualifications

• X-ray screening experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds.
• Access control or badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen required where laws permit.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out site-specific screening procedures.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the location per procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and report irregularities to site leadership.
• Respond to incidents calmly following escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of areas, access points, and the perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
