Job summary

Allied Universal in Norfolk, Virginia is seeking a Security Officer for Part Time X Ray Image Review to screen guests and crews, monitor areas, and report security concerns. You will operate screening devices, perform inspections, and ensure a welcoming, secure environment for all visitors.

The role requires 1+ year of security experience, a TSA-issued TWIC, and a high school diploma or equivalent; schedules are flexible with weekend shifts and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• X-ray screening experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and crew while conducting screenings and enforcing site policies.
• Screen passengers, guests, crew, vendors and belongings per procedures.
• Operate screening equipment and perform visual inspections, report concerns.
• Respond calmly to incidents and coordinate with site personnel and responders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized access.
