Job summary

Stephens College Margaret Campbell Student Success Center is seeking a part-time Center Professional & Academic Writing Tutor for 15 hours per week. The role focuses on tutoring writing, supporting at-risk students, and developing content for workshops and Canvas/course communications.

The tutor will collaborate with MCSSC staff, guide students to improve learning strategies, and proctor exams as needed while maintaining confidentiality of records.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred; candidates with strong academic achievement may be considered.
• Teaching experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Excellent written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide writing tutoring and support for academic writing and research.
• Develop and deliver academic skills and writing workshops.
• Support students in planning and pursuing academic success.
