Qualifications

• Prior successful coaching experience at high school/college level.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong character with a team-oriented spirit and ability to connect with diverse students.
• Knowledge of and experience coaching the sport, including practices and strength/conditioning.
• Effective verbal and written communication and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Reports To: Director of Athletics.
• Demonstrates coaching technique, leadership and mentoring; fosters sportsmanship and high standards.
• Enhances diversity and inclusivity; aligns with the School District's mission and values.
• Coach will perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics or administrator.
• Attend coaches' meetings and collaborate with assistant coaches and student manager.
• Maintain relationships with coaches, athletic administrators, students and parents.
• Evaluate players' skills and help roster decisions; manage equipment and scorekeeping.
