Job summary

WoundGen in Gahanna, OH is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner with wound care interest to join as a part-time clinician one day per week. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, patient-centered wound care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include wound assessment, debridement, care planning, and timely EMR documentation. Training will be provided; mileage reimbursement and CPT compensation options apply.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted NP license in the applicable state(s).
• Clinical experience in wound care or related field preferred but training will be provided.
• Strong skills in debridement and care planning.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team.

Responsibilities

• Perform wound assessments and physical exams for acute and chronic conditions.
• Evaluate wound-related conditions and comorbidities to support healing.
• Perform wound debridement and dressing changes per best practice.
• Develop individualized care plans with Medical Director and care team.
• Document patient encounters and procedures in the EMR within 24 hours.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with primary care and specialists.
• Maintain efficient clinical workflows with staff.
• Participate in meetings, training, and quality improvements.
• Advocate for patient access to care and follow-up services.
