Job summary

Corporate Chaplains of America is seeking a mission-driven Workplace Chaplain to provide confidential employee care, spiritual support, pastoral care, and crisis response within assigned businesses. This part-time role emphasizes servant leadership and relational ministry outside traditional church walls, serving employees of all backgrounds.

The role requires onsite presence, travel to local workplaces, discretion, and adherence to the CCA handbook.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of full-time secular workplace experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies or related ministry field.
• Strong Christian faith and servant leadership commitment.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in sensitive situations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, office environments.
• Ability to respond effectively to sensitive employee situations and crises.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, email and online platforms.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Promote a missionary mindset by building caring relationships with employees and leaders.
• Provide regular onsite workplace chaplain care and relationship-based ministry.
• Provide confidential emotional and spiritual support to employees and families.
• Offer prayer, encouragement, practical care, and compassionate presence.
• Respond to crises, hospitalizations, grief situations, and family emergencies.
• Build and maintain trust with employees, leadership, and CCA leadership.
• Follow the CCA Team Member Handbook and training materials.
• Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, humility, and servant leadership.
• Maintain timely follow-up with employees and workplace contacts.
• Display a positive team-player attitude with chaplains, managers, and leadership.
• Comply with requests from senior CCA leadership.
