Job summary

PACE seeks a part-time Workforce Development Specialist II to provide information and access to program services for ESE and WIOA customers. The role conducts outreach, promotes services, places grant customers in volunteer preschool sites, and monitors hours toward credentialing.

Collaboration with community colleges and partners is essential, including report development. The position requires knowledge of Child Development career requirements, strong communication, and willingness to work

Qualifications

• Experience in social services and knowledge about child development careers.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outreach and recruitment to promote program services to prospective participants, community partners, early childhood education providers, and educational institutions.
• Follow up with ESE and WIOA enrolled customers to determine status with Early Childhood Education (ECE) units and educational goals.
• Provide guidance to students in Child Development programs on applying for the State Permits
• Contact preschool sites about openings for volunteers.
• Monitor volunteer hours of enrolled customers.
• Collect weekly timesheets.
• Ensure timesheets are filled in correctly and signed by customers and site staff.
• Submit timesheets to Sr. Workforce Development Specialist
• Maintain customer records.
• Develop reports as needed.
