City of North Little Rock's Human Resources Department seeks an office clerk to provide clerical support, maintain employee records, and assist in daily operations.
The role includes answering phones, greeting visitors, processing ID badges, mail handling, data entry, and collaborating with staff to ensure reliable HR services.
Provide business office clerical assistance for the Human Resources Department by performing the following duties.
The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary. Other duties may be assigned. Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this position.
utilizes computer programs designed to keep employee and other department records; coordinates with and assists other department users as necessary; scans employment and personnel documentation into system; enters data into computer database.
answers multi-line telephone; greets persons entering department, assisting or directing to appropriate person.
processes ID badges for new, promoted, and transferred employees; provides clerical support to department personnel as needed; opens and distributes departmental mail; performs or participates in special assignments under the guidance of department personnel.
