JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Schuylkill, located in Schuylkill Haven, PA, is a USCAA and PSUAC member, accepting applications for a part-time Assistant Coach for Women's Basketball.

This part-time role involves assisting the head coach with coaching, recruiting academically qualified student-athletes, and supporting team development and culture.

Responsibilities include:

• Assist with practice and game coaching.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes.
• Coordinate weekly practice schedules.
• Contribute to a positive team environment.
• Assist in recognizing conference and national awards.
• Encourage community service and teach life lessons.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Coaching or playing at high school level required; collegiate coaching preferred.

Licenses/Certifications: Valid driver’s license, background checks, and three clearances (PA State Police, Child Abuse, FBI).
