Job summary

Lone Star College-Montgomery is seeking a Part-Time Specialist III for the Wellness Center. The role supports the campus fitness facility with supervision, equipment maintenance, and guest assistance.

Responsibilities include teaching guests proper use of equipment, enforcing rules, and providing basic first aid. Requires a high school diploma or GED and AED/ CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AED/ CPR/First-aid certified, or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the weight room.
• Maintain and clean equipment.
• Welcome guests to the Wellness Center.
• Instruct guests on equipment use and provide basic fitness information.
• Enforce center rules and safety.
• Provide basic first aid if needed.
• Report and resolve complaints.
• Re-rack weight plates and clean surrounding areas.
• Assist with related duties as assigned.
