Job summary

CSN Welding Technology Instructor (part‑time) is needed at the Henderson Campus. You will lecture and conduct lab sessions, help students with procedures, and develop course materials aligned to the curriculum. You will evaluate student mastery and provide advisement as part of a diverse, on‑campus team.

The role requires teaching in day, evening, and weekend blocks, with safety and Canvas LMS familiarity emphasized. CSN is an NSHE institution offering diverse learning opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5 years of work-related experience.
• Knowledge of computer classroom technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lecture and Lab instruction for Welding Technology courses
• Demonstrate and assist students with lab procedures and ensure adherence to safety precautions
• Develop syllabi and course materials. Instruct students in accordance with curriculum standards and objectives
• Independently evaluate student mastery of skills and competencies required by course outcomes
• Make necessary provisions to meet learning needs
• Provide advisement to students
• Attend staff meetings and recruitment activities as requested
