Job summary

Lamar Community College invites applications for a Part-Time Welding Instructor. The successful candidate will teach welding courses to support the LCC Trades program, work with diverse student populations, and help maintain high instructional quality.

Requirements include an Associate Degree in welding or equivalent industry experience, ability to qualify for CTE credentialing, and verifiable work history. The schedule may include day, evening, and weekend classes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in welding or work experience equivalent.
• Ability to qualify for CTE credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Teach welding courses listed under WEL credits
• Assist in program development and curriculum revision
• Maintain current knowledge of welding industry standards
• Work with Dean and faculty to ensure quality instruction
