Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience in a retail store preferred, OR
• any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists customers purchasing items by ringing up sales on a cash register; collects monies, counts change and prepares receipts; maintains cash drawer and processes bank deposits.
• Prepares and maintains sales records, tax forms, and social service vouchers; generates routine sales reports.
• Maintains neatness and security of the cash register area; ensures supplies are stocked.
• Receives, inspects and sorts donated items according to category and condition.
• Tags items with codes/prices; hangers; packs items; transports boxes; prepares non-suitable clothes for bailer.
