Job summary

The Salvation Army Gainesville Thrift Store in Gainesville, FL is seeking a full-time Store Clerk to ring up sales, handle cash, prepare receipts, and balance the cash drawer. A High School diploma or GED is required.

You will also sort donations, stock shelves, tag items, and maintain a neat store and sorting area while assisting customers and processing bank deposits. Some Saturdays are required, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience in retail preferred.
• Knowledge of basic math and excellent customer service.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Ring up sales and balance cash drawer daily.
• Process donations and sort items by category.
• Assist customers and maintain store cleanliness.
