Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Shift Supervisor for a tech company in Cambridge, MA. The role requires 1+ year of supervisory security experience and a valid driver’s license.

Shift runs Saturdays and Sundays, 7 AM–3 PM, with starting pay of $26.70 per hour, orientation and training provided. The Shift Supervisor will protect the client’s facility, supervise staff, and enforce post orders while maintaining contract compliance and high safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One+ year security supervisory experience required.
• 21+ years old required.
• Licensing requirements may apply depending on state/local laws.
• Minimum of two years of verifiable customer service and security-related experience.

Responsibilities

• Make emergency notifications as necessary per site Post Orders.
• Provide direction to subordinates and oversee shift activities.
• Cross-train officers to increase versatility and efficiency.
• Make productivity and cost reduction recommendations to management.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling and on-site training for security officers on shift.
• Ensure training and screening elements for personnel are met.
• Maintain overtime at minimum or as designated by Allied Universal.
• Inspect personnel and performance to ensure contract compliance.
