Job summary

BTI Security is seeking a part-time, weekend security supervisor to lead guard teams across multiple sites in the Maryland area. You will oversee shifts, ensure compliance with contract requirements, and maintain officer credentials while supporting the Project Manager in policy and procedure updates.

The role requires at least two years of supervisory experience, Maryland guard licensing, and strong communication and customer-service skills to interact with clients at all levels.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years of experience supervising and leading unarmed/armed security personnel.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Maryland Unarmed Security Guard license.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have a customer service driven mindset.
• Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers.
• Equipment and Software proficiency in fax/copier/printer, Microsoft Office products (Excel and Word)

Responsibilities

• Oversee officers and shifts.
• Manage the security guard contract.
• Perform regular post inspections.
• Prepare written inspection and quality control reports.
• Daily management of readiness capabilities of armed and unarmed security personnel in the Metropolitan Area.
• Ensure all officers credentials are maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
• Assist Project Manager in implementing new systems, process development and operating procedures.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project Manager.
