Job summary

SecTek, Inc. seeks an Unarmed Security Officer for Washington Park, MD. This full-time 2nd shift role covers weekends, with duties including following SOPs, patrolling indoor areas, and coordinating with building management.

The position requires a high school diploma and MD Guard Card, ability to stand and walk for long periods, and working outdoors in various weather. On-site work with diverse security responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Following prescribed Standard Operating Procedures for basic and emergency responses.
• Liaising with security and building management to communicate, elevate, and solve problems.
• Indoor patrol of buildings (only) checking for physical damage, water damage, leaking pipes, bathrooms secure.
• Extensive walking (down stairs only) and scanning check points.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (not standing outdoors; just walking from building to building next door).
• Two Post: Stationary watch from the Security Desk switch off every hour to conduct an extensive foot patrol using phone software and check points.
