Job summary

Comstock Holding Companies, Inc. is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Reston, VA (Sat/Sun 7am-3pm). You will patrol the property, control access, and maintain safety and order for residents and guests.

Requirements include a High School Diploma, DCJS certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days), and at least 1 year in customer service. Must have a valid driver’s license and be able to work after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• DCJS Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer-service related field.
• Valid driver's license without major violations.
• Flexibility to work after hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Complete hourly patrol route of the property using the security system.
• Access control for guests, tenants and vendors.
• Ensure no property is being damaged and report concerns to management.
• Conduct routine foot patrols in and around building.
• Enforce the plaza rules and manage special events as needed.
• Maintain appearance of the plaza kiosks and restock information as needed.
• Assist marketing around events and manage valet at Reston Station.
