United Protective Services in Houston is seeking a dependable Security Officer for a busy high-rise office building garage. The role offers part-time hours at a rate of $15.75/hour, with a 24-hour weekly schedule on Saturdays and Sundays from 6 AM to 2 PM.

The officer will be the first contact for tenants, employees, vendors, and visitors, ensuring safety, security, and professionalism in a fast-paced corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a professional security role (garage or similar environment preferred).
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Solid judgment and the ability to de-escalate situations when needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian access in and out of the garage.
• Conduct regular patrols of all garage levels and access points.
• Enforce property rules, parking regulations, and safety procedures at all times.
• Report incidents and maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist tenants, staff, and visitors with directions and inquiries.
