Job summary

Bay Cove Human Services’ Mirasol Center For Healing seeks a Part-Time Recovery Specialist to support individuals on their recovery journey. You will work Friday and Saturday 7am-3pm, providing direct support, facilitating activities, and documenting care under clinical guidance.

Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior health and human services experience; bilingual skills are encouraged. The role emphasizes safety, confidentiality, teamwork, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months health and human services experience preferred.
• Weekend availability with notice.
• Understanding of 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA within one week.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide supportive care to meet individuals’ needs and ensure a welcoming environment that promotes dignity and respect.
• Conduct wellness checks and document observations per agency protocol.
• Observe and document self-administration of medications.
• Promote participation in wellness and educational activities and assist in recreational activities.
• Assist with meal preparation and upkeep, and prepare rooms for admissions.
