Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Part Time Behavioral and Mental Health Specialist to work alternating weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with shifts from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM. Qualifications

• Three years of experience in postgraduate clinical or social work setting.
• Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited graduate school.
• Georgia LCSW or LPC licensure level is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in comprehensive BMH assessments in emergency department or other settings.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to determine discharge disposition.
• Complete 1013s to authorize transportation to inpatient facilities when needed.
• Deliver ongoing support and daily reassessments during patient stays.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new hires.
• Ensure compliance with organizational and departmental training requirements.
