Job summary

Magnolia Post Acute in Colonial Heights, VA is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team on weekends part-time. You will assist with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing setting and help implement treatment plans to improve mobility and independence.

Collaboration with other therapists, accurate record-keeping, and patient-centered care are essential. A VA OTA license and accredited program completion are required.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited OTA program and possess a VA OTA license.
• 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with evaluating and treating patients in a skilled nursing environment.
• Establish treatment plans and implement methods to ease pain and increase mobility.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement patient care plans.
