Job summary

Timbers Kiawah is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and order in residences and assigned areas according to our standards and owners’ preferences.

Responsibilities include pre-cleaning tasks, guest area upkeep, and proactive attention to guest and operational needs. A reliable candidate with English proficiency and transportation is preferred; training is offered for the right person.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred; training available for the right candidate.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license and insurance.
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.

• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to owners and guests to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including guest supplies and linen for housekeeping set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Demonstrate initiative by anticipating owner/guest or operational needs.

Job description

We are seeking a dynamic, driven individual to join our team at Timbers Kiawah. The Housekeeper is responsible for the cleanliness or orderliness of residences and assigned areas as directed by the Housekeeping Director. Duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to, the following.

• Thoroughly clean residences according to Timber's standards and according to the preferences of the owners and guests.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all owners and guests to ensure overall guest satisfaction.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping set-up.
• Remove all trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating owner and guest or operational needs.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred but will train for the right candidate.
