Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Part-time Pharmacy Technician for weekend daytime shifts (7am–7pm). The role supports safe pharmaceutical care, including medication preparation, dispensing, and inventory management under pharmacist supervision.

You will ensure regulatory compliance, excellent customer service, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care. Prior hospital experience and familiarity with pharmacy software are preferred.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years hospital pharmacy experience required.
• Proficiency in regulatory compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications under pharmacist supervision.
• Maintain accurate inventory and perform regular stock audits.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients and staff.
• Record medication orders and dispensing activities per policy.
• Support quality assurance and safe medication practices.
• Troubleshoot pharmacy equipment and coordinate with pharmacists.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
• Remain current with pharmacy practices and participate in training.
• Maintain attendance and comply with policies.
