Job summary

Community Health Systems, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician on a PRN, as-needed basis in a hospital setting. You will assist with medication preparation, dispensing, labeling, and inventory management under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

You will maintain compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and state/federal pharmacy laws, while delivering excellent customer service to patients and healthcare staff. Ongoing training and collaboration with pharmacists are essential.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and safety standards (HIPAA/OSHA).
• Proficiency in inventory management and medication stocking.
• Ability to operate pharmacy equipment and software accurately.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and dispensing of medications under supervision.
