Job summary

D&S Community Services, part of the Sevita family, is hiring a part-time caregiver for Brookside in Brenham, TX. You’ll support individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities, personal care, and community engagement on Saturdays and Sundays 8am–10pm.

Qualifications

• Six months of experience in human services, direct care, or care coordination preferred.
• Vehicle: Valid Driver's license and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with personal hygiene and daily living activities.
• Support participants in community activities and social engagement.
• Help participants achieve developmental goals like budgeting, exercise, and nutrition.
• Develop real, meaningful relationships with those served and communicate effectively with the team.
