Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in skilled nursing preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must be able to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and conduct resident activities.
• Involve residents and families in planning activities.
• Coordinate activities with other staff and departments.
• Maintain descriptive activity progress notes.
• Ensure infection control and HIPAA confidentiality policies are followed.
• Be prepared to work beyond scheduled hours when needed.
