Job summary

Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center is seeking a part-time Recreational Activities Assistant to engage and motivate residents in therapeutic recreation activities. The role requires enthusiasm, creativity, and the ability to relate well to seniors and their families, with weekend availability (Fri/Sat/Sun, 9a–5p).

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• Must complete post offer, pre-employment criminal background check and physical/drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in developing and implementing therapeutic recreation programs tailored to residents’ needs and interests.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity department supplies and equipment.
