Job summary

Raintree Village is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant supports the Activities Director with a program of activities for the community, advocating elder-centered care to residents, families, physicians, and staff.

The role includes weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) as part of a part-time arrangement, coordinating events and field trips, and maintaining activity logs while collaborating with volunteers and the broader team to enhance resident

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
• Demonstrates compassionate, elder-centered care principles.
• Willingness to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Participate in activities with residents as directed by the Activities Director.
• Maintain activity logs and documentation for the department.
• Promote resident-directed care in daily activities.
• Plan and coordinate activities as instructed by supervisor.
• Engage with resident and family councils; assist with volunteers.
• Support dietary staff if needed.
