Job summary

Visalia Post Acute seeks a Part-Time Activities Assistant to plan and lead engaging programs for residents, under the Activities Director. The role emphasizes creativity, compassion, and strong interaction with seniors, families, and staff.

The successful candidate will help maintain calendars, coordinate group and individual activities, and assist with outings and care plans while ensuring safety and privacy compliance. This is a part-time on-site role with opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and conducting activities for residents.
• Lead games, crafts, music, and social events.
• Develop and maintain monthly activity calendar and attendance records.
• Provide materials and adapt activities for accessibility (large-print, audiobooks, Braille).
• Coordinate outings and transportation as needed.
• Support care plans, assessments, and progress notes.
