Scarritt Bennett Center in Nashville seeks a Part-Time Wedding and Special Events Sales Coordinator to support growth by crafting detailed event plans, including weddings, that align with the center’s mission.

You will assist in selling event spaces, accommodations and catering, coordinate with florists, photographers and rental companies, and help manage vendor lists while working under the Director of Sales, Marketing & Development and the Wedding & Special Events Manager.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of prior experience in event assisting/planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Collaborative spirit and ability to work across departments.
• Well organized, detail oriented with excellent follow-up skills.
• Ability to learn and efficiently use project management software/tools.
• Knowledge of event management software is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Assist in growing SBC event business by aligning with its mission.
• Assess client needs and craft detailed wedding and event plans.
• Drive sales of event spaces, accommodations and catering.
• Arrange onsite events and catering executions for internal and external clients.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal staff across departments.
• Maintain customer and vendor lists and organize sales materials.
