IU High School Online (IUHS) is looking for Web/Course Content Specialists to provide technical and editing support for virtual courses. Web/Course Content Specialists play a crucial role in ensuring that IU High School Online delivers high-quality, accessible, and engaging virtual courses that meet the diverse needs of learners. This work occurs year-round, including during the summer.
This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position is eligible for remote work in the state of Indiana, subject to change in the future based on university policy and business needs.
$16.00 per hour
This is a part-time position requiring 15 hours per week.
Employees are expected to work a consistent Monday through Friday schedule totaling 15 hours per week. Employees must work a minimum of one 3-hour block each day during an approved work block (9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. or 1:00-4:00 p.m.).
Any changes to the approved work schedule must be coordinated with and approved by the supervisor in advance.
