Job summary

BVA Bear’s IT Solutions is seeking a Web / Application Support Specialist for a part-time, 20-hour week position primarily supporting City of Philadelphia facilities on site at City Hall. You will ensure web applications run smoothly and align with City digital standards, including accessibility considerations.

The role requires attention to detail, experience in web or application support, and the ability to coordinate with City teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of web or application support experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting accessibility compliance.
• Strong documentation and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support the Philadelphia City Council websites and internal web applications.
• Perform content updates, bug fixes, and enhancements in coordination with City teams.
• Ensure WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility compliance.
• Assist with controlled releases, testing, and deployment coordination.
• Maintain technical documentation, configurations, and change records.
• Coordinate with creative, technical, and City stakeholders to support updates and improvements.
