Job summary

UPS in the United States is seeking a Supervisor to train and supervise package handlers and clerks on safety, productivity, and related tasks, and to hold teams accountable for attendance and timecard submissions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent (preferred) and management experience (preferred). Ability to lift 70 lbs, work flexible shifts up to 5 days a week, and strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure duties are accomplished safely and timely.
• Upholds UPS's ethical standards and code of conduct.
