Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks, focusing on safety, productivity, and attendance. The role ensures timecards are submitted and daily duties are performed efficiently.

Responsibilities include coordinating with management, leading meetings, and maintaining strong relationships with staff and customers. A Bachelor's degree is preferred and a flexible, up-to-5-days-per-week schedule is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent preferred.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
• Flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains good working relationships with employees, management and customers.
• Facilitates training with new and current employees.
• Conducts and participates in group meetings.
• Coordinates evaluations with management.
• Determines best solutions for package concerns.
• Supervises daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely.
