Job summary

UPS is seeking a supervisor to oversee Package Handlers, train teams, and uphold safety, productivity and attendance standards. This role leads by example and builds strong working relationships across the operation.

The incumbent ensures compliance with policies, OSHA requirements, and implements development plans, while fostering a positive, proactive environment that drives continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
• Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Package Handlers and trains workgroups.
• Maintains safety, production and attendance standards.
• Sets and maintains high standards for productivity and accuracy.
• Promotes a positive, team-oriented work environment with proactive communication.
• Implements personal development plans for department personnel.
• Ensures all employees receive orientation, training materials, evaluations and coaching.
