Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior order selecting experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Must perform tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment per safety policies.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature areas (dry, cooler, freezer).
• Must follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets of dry groceries, frozen foods, dairy products, produce, poultry, fish, beef, pork and related products for delivery to customers using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Operate powered industrial equipment (e.g. single and double pallet jacks).
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including inspections of powered equipment using a safety checklist.
• Report damaged products, quality issues, and out-of-stock/low volume products.
• Utilize proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product and prevent damages.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
