Job summary

SpartanNash in Byron Center, MI is seeking an Order Selector to fulfill customer orders from warehouse racks. You will assemble, palletize, and shrink wrap products, operating pallet jacks and possibly other powered equipment.

Physical duties include lifting up to 100 lbs and working in multi-temperature areas. Must have a high school diploma or GED and prior order selecting or equipment experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior order selecting experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating powered industrial equipment preferred.
• Must perform assigned tasks accurately while meeting production standards in a fast-paced warehouse operation.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature areas as assigned (e.g. freezer, coolers, dry conditions).

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and pallets for delivery using order sheets or an audio headset.
• Operate powered industrial equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and inspect equipment.
• Report damaged products, quality issues, and stock shortages.
• Utilize proper wrapping techniques to secure pallets for safe transport.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
