Job summary

SpartanNash's Sioux Falls distribution center is hiring a Warehouse Order Selector to pick items from racks, assemble pallets, and prepare shipments for delivery. This role requires you to operate powered equipment and work in multi-temperature areas, including dry, refrigerated, and freezer spaces.

You will follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, efficient warehouse. Responsibilities include accurate order picking, reporting issues, and complying with all quality and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior order selecting experience preferred.
• Prior experience operating power industrial equipment preferred.
• Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work in multi-temperature areas (dry, refrigerated, freezer).

Responsibilities

• Locate and lift cases, boxes, bags, and/or pallets for delivery to customers.
• Select products from warehouse racks to fulfill customer orders.
• Assemble, palletize and shrink wrap products as needed.
• Operate powered industrial equipment and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Report damaged products or out-of-stock items and follow safety procedures.
