Job summary

Graybar is hiring a Part-Time Service Center Warehouse Material Handler - Receiving in Richmond, VA. You will receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System. Day-to-day tasks include operating pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, while maintaining safety and organization in the warehouse.

Requirements include minimum 18 years old, steel-toe boots, and pass pre-employment physical testing. 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 2+ years warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to perform physical tasks in a warehouse environment.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Steel-toed boots required.

Responsibilities

• Receive and store incoming material per WMS process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments; conduct cycle counts.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, forklifts, push carts).
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and perform daily safety inspections.
