Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Service Center Warehouse Material Handler – Receiving in Richmond, VA to receive, store, select, pack and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System. This role emphasizes hands-on operation, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

You will work Monday–Friday, 10:00am–7:00pm and earn compensation starting at $19.19 per hour, with a $1.00 differential based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age required.
• 2+ years experience preferred.
• Prior large warehouse experience using a warehouse management system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
