Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Austell, GA is seeking a Part-Time Warehouse Material Handler to ensure efficient movement of products through receiving, storage, picking and shipping. You will operate equipment like pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts, and use our warehouse management system daily.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in a large warehouse, ability to lift and climb as needed, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.
• Minimum age of 18.
• No fear of heights.
• 2+ years experience in a large warehouse preferred.
• Experience with a warehouse management system preferred.
• Ability to lift varying loads in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material in accordance with warehouse management system process.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments, conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain clean warehouse including following all safety procedures and performing daily safety inspections.
