Project 2231 is seeking a part-time General Maintenance Team Member to support a safe, clean, and efficient warehouse in Clarksville, Tennessee. The role includes routine upkeep, minor repairs, preventive maintenance, and assisting contractors to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Qualifications include a high school diploma (preferred) and prior maintenance or facilities experience. Physical stamina is required, and a valid driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous general maintenance, facilities, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and manage assigned tasks through completion.
• Basic troubleshooting, problem-solving, and repair skills.
• Clear communication and the ability to work effectively with coworkers, contractors, and vendors.
• Physical stamina and manual dexterity required to perform maintenance duties safely.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• Willingness to complete employment verification and a background check, consistent with applicable law.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning, mopping, and upkeep of warehouse spaces.
• Inspect work areas and report electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, or other significant repair needs to the Maintenance Manager.
• Complete minor repairs such as changing light bulbs, repairing doors, and replacing filters within training and assigned scope.
• Maintain warehouse equipment and tools as directed and report unsafe or damaged items immediately.
• Ensure safety signs are properly placed, visible, and maintained.
• Help organize and maintain warehouse inventory and storage areas.
• Assist coworkers, approved contractors, and vendors with maintenance and renovation projects.
• Complete assigned work orders and document work performed accurately.
• Follow all safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment, and keep work areas hazard-free.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
